The configuration settings are exclusively visible to YouDesign admins within your organization.

Access RTI Configuration

1. In the ServiceNow Home Page click All.
2. Then click on YouDesign to open a drop-down menu.
3. Click on Configuration to open a drop-down menu of all configuration settings.
4. Select Realtime Indicators

Once you open the Realtime Indicators configuration page you will see the following toolbar:

Create New Realtime Indicator

1. From the Realtime Indicators list, select New to begin creation of a new Realtime Indicator
2. Create a name for your new Realtime Indicator
3. Select Source Table from the drop-down menu
4. Select the element from the tree of fields based on the Source Table selected in the previous step.
5. Press the Submit button and your new Realtime Indicator will be added to the RTI list and page will be reloaded.

Add Values to the Realtime Indicator

After creating the Realtime Indicator, it needs values that will be shown within YouDesign.
To create values follow these steps:

1. In the RTI list, find and click on the name of RTI to which you want to add values.
2. The RTI Value list will open where you can click on Newto create new value.
3. Defining the Realtime Indicator characteristics:

• Value OR Range (Range Start and Range End) — Value has to be exact. Rage only supports numbers.
• Label — we recommend describing a range when using Range Start/End, so the users can understand by
  reading the label.
• Color — color selection enables Shape Indicators, Background, and Borders
• Symbol — when defined, enables the possibility of adding the symbol as indicator.

(In the example GIF below we are using a range starting with 0 and ending with 1500.)
Note: If the style is not configured, only the text style will be available by default.

4. Click Submitbutton to finalize creation of your new RTI Value

When creating a Realtime Indicator (RTI), the Value field must match an existing value for the *Source field of a shape you are creating the RTI for.
